The i-Trak Long Range VID reader makes motor vehicle access control fast and convenient. Fully weatherproof and compatible with most access control systems through a standard 26Bit Wiegand interface. Once the i-Trak Windscreen Tag is fitted to the vehicle, users can enjoy hands free, fully automatic gate activation with no effort required from the driver, providing safe and quick access.

How it Works

The i-Trak Tags are fitted to the inside of the vehicles windscreen, or hung from the rear vision mirror. Once the vehicle is driven in the range of the i-Trak VID Reader the tags unique ID is instantly passed to the access control system for verification, just like a proximity / smartcard. If the access control system authorises the tag, the gate or door is opened.
